FAQ
Questions worth a straight answer
Mostly about pricing, because that is where this category earns its reputation.
Pricing
Is the price really all-in?
Yes. Gratuity, tolls including E-470, fuel, airport access and lane fees, meet-and-greet and 60 minutes of airport wait time are all inside the quoted number. There is no fuel surcharge, no late-night fee and no toll billed afterwards. The only things that change a price are changes you make: extra stops, a bigger vehicle, or a different date that falls into a different mountain season.
Why is your headline price higher than other Denver operators?
Because theirs is a base fare, not a total. The Denver convention is to advertise low and add a 20% automatic gratuity, a fuel surcharge, a late-night fee and the toll on top, routinely more than 30% over the advertised figure. Compare final numbers rather than headline numbers and we are usually the cheaper of the two.
Do you charge more at night or on holidays?
Not in the metro. Airport and metro rates are identical at every hour of every day, which matters because a large share of DEN traffic lands after 10pm and charging extra for the schedule the airlines set is a penalty, not a pricing policy. Mountain transfers do carry a winter and a peak-holiday rate, both published on the rates page and applied by travel date.
Should I tip the chauffeur?
Gratuity is already in the price at a rate our chauffeurs agree to, so nothing is expected. You are welcome to add something for exceptional service and plenty of people do, but you will never be handed a device with a tip screen already on it.
Airport
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing, from your side. We track your flight by tail number and move the pickup with it. Sixty minutes of wait time from wheels-down is included on every arrival, and a delay does not change the price.
Where will my chauffeur meet me at DEN?
Inside, at baggage claim, with a name board. We park and come in rather than texting you to walk to a cell lot. If you travel with carry-on only and would rather move quickly, tell us and we will meet you curbside at Level 5 instead.
How early should I book an airport pickup?
Same-day is usually fine in the metro, and calling is faster than the form. For departures we schedule pickup around your flight time, the terminal and the season. DEN security queues in July are a different problem from February.
Mountains and winter
Are your vehicles equipped for I-70 in winter?
Our SUVs run dedicated winter tyres from September through May, above the 3/16-inch tread depth Colorado's Traction Law actually requires, and the chauffeurs who take mountain work have driven the passes in the conditions that close them. All-wheel drive on worn all-seasons technically satisfies the law and is not the same thing.
What if the pass closes?
We watch CDOT rather than a weather app, and if a closure looks likely we will call you the night before and move the pickup. If a closure happens mid-route we wait it out, and you are not billed for the delay, because a flat rate means a flat rate.
Can you carry skis and snowboards?
Yes, and they travel inside the vehicle rather than on a roof rack. A Luxury SUV takes six passengers with six sets of equipment; a Sprinter takes eleven with twelve. Tell us the count when you book so we send the right vehicle.
How far ahead should I book a holiday transfer?
For Christmas, New Year and Presidents Day week, by early November. Those dates sell out across the whole Denver market, not just with us, and a peak-week booking takes a 25% deposit to hold the vehicle.
Is a private transfer worth it over the shared shuttle?
A shuttle seat runs roughly $79–139 per person each way and stops for everyone else on board. A private SUV breaks even at about five passengers, and it leaves when you land rather than when the van fills.
Booking and policy
What is your cancellation policy?
Metro transfers cancel free until 12 hours before pickup. Mountain transfers cancel free until 48 hours before, because the vehicle and chauffeur are committed to your date and cannot realistically be resold at short notice. Inside those windows the charge is 50%.
How does hourly service work?
The vehicle and the chauffeur are held for the block, with a 3-hour minimum. Stops can be added, dropped or reordered inside the block without renegotiating anything, and nothing is re-dispatched between stops.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, at no charge: infant, convertible and booster, fitted before pickup. Colorado requires a seat through age 7 or until a child reaches 4'9".
Do you take corporate accounts?
Yes. Accounts are invoiced monthly with cost centre, traveller name and trip purpose on every line, and we supply insurance certificates and a W-9 at onboarding for your vendor process.
Are you licensed and insured?
We operate under Colorado PUC Luxury Limousine authority, with commercial auto and general liability cover. Certificates are available on request, and worth asking any operator for, since only a handful in Denver publish a permit number at all.
